It was formed in 1994 and quickly became one of the busiest working bands in the South of England.
The band perform for all kinds of occassions and the music works well in almost any setting.

Over the years many people have wondered how Rockin' in Rhythm manage to produce their unique sound.
Undeniably they have taken many ideas from the well known bands of the swing era, from individual musicians and arrangers. Of course many bands have done the same but have merely sounded derivative and cliched.
Somehow Rockin' in Rhythm has avoided this pitfall and has created a sound and a feel that is truly fresh and original, despite being so firmly rooted in a particular style and period.
